UCDEC

The University Continuing Dental Education Committee is formally established by the University of Western Australia for the promotion within the University and the dental profession of postgraduate and continuing dental education and research other than that leading to the higher degrees of the University.

The committee consists of:

    (a) a chair nominated jointly by the Vice-Chancellor and President and the President of the Western Australian Branch of the Australian Dental Association;

    (b) four members nominated by the Senate on the recommendation of the School of Dentistry;

    (c) four members nominated by the Western Australian Branch of the Australian Dental Association;

    (d) not more than three co-opted members.

The committee forms part of University Extension, and arranges and conducts a series of continuing education programs and courses related to dentistry.  The 2008 Coursebook is now finalised.
