Continuing Education

A program of continuing education for dentists is provided by a number of providers, most notably the University Continuing Dental Education Committee (UCDEC) and the Australian Dental Association (WA) .  Many of these courses are provided at the Oral Health Centre.

The purpose of UCDEC is the promotion within the University and the dental profession of postgraduate and continuing dental education and research other than that leading to the higher degrees of the University. A wide range of courses is offered each year to dentists. The current UCDEC 2008 Coursebook details all courses being conducted by UDCEC.

A number of other courses are provided at the Centre on an ad hoc basis by dental material and equipment manufacturers, as well as by dedicated training or course providers.
